This system manages all sorts of reports related to entry or departure such as a report on the ship's entry to or departure from a port, application for the use of port facilities, reports on cargo, information on dangerous substances, and the use of port facilities, the collection of tax revenues, the output of tax payment notice, etc. As a 24-hour, Web-based service, it can be used in anywhere the Internet is accessible any time. Moreover, the Port-MIS serves as a single window for civil complaints reported to nationwide ports. Thanks to a broadcast communication network, the received complaints can also be transmitted to the Customs, Immigration, and Quarantine (CIQ) offices at the same time.
